Business Analyst (Part-Time)

Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is seeking highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support a client in Bothell, WA. This is a part-time position with approximately 30 hours per week. The role will be 100% onsite. This is a contract position scheduled to last through December 2026. This role will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, improving customer experience, and providing actionable business insights through data analysis. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen with hands-on SAP expertise to manage order fulfillment, inventory visibility, invoicing, and reporting while partnering cross-functionally to enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Process Improvement

  • Analyze existing sales operations and order management workflows to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop recommendations and implement process enhancements that increase productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and support automation initiatives that streamline operational activities and reduce manual effort.
  • Document business requirements, workflows, and process improvements.

Data Analysis & Business Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales, operational, and customer data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor business performance, including order accuracy, revenue trends, inventory availability, and delivery metrics.
  • Translate complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Support strategic planning and decision-making through data-driven analysis.

SAP Order Management & Operations Support

  • Manage customer orders, invoicing, and transaction processing within SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with operational procedures.
  • Monitor order status, delivery schedules, and fulfillment timelines to ensure timely customer delivery.
  • Track inventory levels and communicate stock availability to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Partner closely with logistics and supply chain teams to proactively resolve shipment, delivery, and inventory-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate order and sales records while ensuring data integrity across systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to align processes and business objectives.
  • Serve as a key liaison between business users and technical teams to support system enhancements and process optimization initiatives.
  • Provide operational support to sales and account management teams, including order inquiries, shipment tracking, issue resolution, reporting, and customer communications.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and business reviews for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Business Analysis, Sales Operations, Order Management, or a related operational role.
  • Hands-on experience using SAP for order processing and transaction management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working within B2B, distribution, electronics, technology, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting sales operations, business process improvement, or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Advanced SAP expertise, including order management, delivery tracking, invoicing, and inventory management.
  • Strong data analysis skills with advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookups, and data modeling.
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance reporting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting ODM, OEM, branded products, or electronics manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
